Who Is "Redefined" For? It's For You.

When I started writing Redefined earlier this year, I thought it was a book about job loss. But it became much bigger than my search for clarity. It became a book about the countless people who are struggling quietly, carrying uncertainty, and wondering what comes next.

It is for anyone standing at the edge of change. For anyone trying to understand a career or identity that suddenly feels unfamiliar. For anyone who knows they need to pivot, even if the path forward is still taking shape. If that is you, this book was written with you in mind.

Here are the people I wrote Redefined for:

Mid-career professionals
The people who built solid careers, only to discover the landscape has shifted beneath them. You have experience, skill, and value. You also have questions about what comes next. Redefined helps you answer them.

Workers whose jobs are being reshaped by AI
You see the change happening. You feel it. Maybe your role is evolving. Maybe you are asked to do more with tools you hardly had time to learn. Maybe you are worried. This book gives you clarity.

Workers whose jobs will be reshaped by AI
If you think disruption has not reached you yet, it will. The best time to build adaptive skills is before you need them. Redefined is your early warning system, and your guidebook for staying ahead.

People going through layoffs or fearing them
Whether the email has already arrived or you are bracing for it, you are not alone. This book helps you navigate the grief, shock, doubt, and rebuilding.

Professionals burned out from instability
You are juggling stress, uncertainty, restructuring, culture shifts, and invisible pressure. You deserve tools that steady you.

College students
The ones stepping into a world where AI is rewriting the rulebook. Where jobs shift fast. Where competition is global. You deserve tools that help you build confidence, resilience, and a career that does not crumble with the first disruption.

Recent graduates
You have been told to follow a linear path that no longer exists. Redefined is a reminder that you are not behind. You are simply entering a workforce that is being reinvented in real time.
And lastly, I wrote it for my children too, so that they are equipped, resilient, and ready for whatever comes their way.
At the end of the day, friends, career pivots do not only come from layoffs. They come from boredom, misalignment, burnout, health changes, parenting, caregiving, relocations, reorganizations, and the quiet knowing that something has to shift. This book honors that moment and helps you move through it with intention.

That is why I wrote this book.

Because I want people to feel ready.
Because I want them to feel seen.
Because I want them to know they are not broken.
They are being rebuilt.
